Week 5

Sorry, I'm a little late writing this blog entry for week 5! I've been a little busy these days! In our last class, we talked about how to prepare for a job interview. We talked about how important your appearance is and how you can leave a good first impression with the employer. We also discussed how to look confident and 'sell yourself' during a job interview.

Because talking about your work experience and your qualifications (including education) are the two most important things in a job interview, I asked you to think about both of these areas for your homework. I think most of you don't have much work experience so how can you sell yourself by talking about your qualifications during a job interview? What qualifications do you have? I think it is important to think about what makes you special (or different from other people) before you go to a job interview. It will help you standout from other candidates.
